Though she started modeling when she was just 8 months baby she started her modeling career seriously when she was 15 working for Castro and Pilpel. Refaeli appeared in ELLE, Maxim, GQ etc magazines. She appeared in 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and hence become the 1st Israeli model to appear in the magazine. Refaeli is working for Project Sunshine a NGO providing services for children health. She is even working for a campaign to reduce use of plastic bags.
